=( Version numbering in Backend News Project)= The Version of any release has three numbers. So a version X.Y.Z will mean the following: X = major version number. This is increased only when there is a big change in the code base. Y = minor version number. This is increased when sligh modification to the code is made, mostly the result of a bug-hack. Z = site number. This shows the number of sites that the module can be used to grab news from. This is increased when support for a site news fetch is included in the package/module.
